Purifiers, humidifiers and filters
Whole-house air purifiers
ICS installs whole-house air purifiers from AprilAire and Aerus. The AprilAire Model 5000 uses a MERV 16 filter, the highest MERV rating, to catch fine dust, pollen and pet dander.
The Air Scrubber by Aerus mounts in the ductwork and circulates ionized hydrogen peroxide to inactivate viruses, bacteria and mold and to cut odors from pets, cooking and cleaning products. Its technology was inducted into the Space Technology Hall of Fame in 2017.
Whole-house humidifiers
Running the heat dries out indoor air over a Lehigh Valley winter. An AprilAire whole-house humidifier mounts on the furnace and adds moisture while the heat runs. Its automatic control adjusts to the outdoor temperature to keep your windows from fogging.
Media air cleaners
A 4-inch media cabinet with a MERV 11 filter replaces the thin filter slot at your furnace. Its larger filter catches about 21% more particles than a standard filter, needs changing less often, and eases the strain on your blower and ductwork.
Surge protection and leak alerts
A surge protector with a voltage monitor guards your system's electronics against power spikes and records power problems you can show the utility. A Wi-Fi water leak sensor alerts your phone if it finds water, such as from a clogged condensate drain.
