Boiler repair
Many older Lehigh Valley homes heat with a gas boiler that sends hot water to radiators or baseboard. Call ICS if you notice any of these:

Boiler replacement
ICS installs New Yorker and Bradford White gas boilers.
The New Yorker CG-F is a cast iron gas boiler rated 84% AFUE. It comes in eight sizes, runs on natural gas or propane, and carries a lifetime limited warranty.
Cast iron boilers like the CG-F are simple, long-lasting and vent into an existing chimney. High-efficiency condensing boilers waste less gas, but they need PVC venting and a condensate drain and cost more to install.
The right size comes from how much heat your home loses on a cold day. Many older boilers are oversized, so a new one is often smaller than the one it replaces. We go over both options and their prices at the estimate.
Boiler maintenance
A yearly check keeps a boiler safe and efficient. On a boiler tune-up, our technician will:
- Inspect and clean the burner and check the flame
- Check the system pressure and the expansion tank
- Test the relief valve
- Check the circulator pump
- Look for leaks at the boiler and the piping
- Test the safety controls
- Check the venting and test for carbon monoxide
